Amber Heard has admitted that her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, sexually abused her on many occasions.
During the second day of her Virginia court evidence, the Aquaman actor disclosed one of the events occurred at their Australia home, in which she was abused with a vodka bottle.
“I look in his eyes and I don’t see him any more.” It wasn’t him; instead, it was dark. I’ve never felt so terrified in my life. I couldn’t make him out. He had his gaze fixed on me. I was trying to get through to him, to tell him it was all my fault in some way. I was attempting to contact Johnny. I couldn’t make him out. I couldn’t even see him.”
“My head was slamming against the back of the bar, and I couldn’t breathe,” she added. I recall trying to get up to warn him he was seriously inflicting pain on me. I couldn’t take a breath. I was unable to contact him. I couldn’t get out of bed.”
She went on to say that she attempted to “inform him that he was truly hurting me.” I doubted he realised what he was doing.”
“The next thing I remember I was leaning over backwards on the bar, gazing at the blue light,” Heard sobbed. My back was against the counter. I thought he was going to hit me. This pressure was felt on my pubic bone. I thought he was going to hit me. His arm was moving, and I could feel it. He appeared to be hitting me. I could feel the pressure. I didn’t feel any pain; all I felt was pressure on my pubic bone.”
“I don’t recall what I said; all I remember is being very motionless and not wanting to move.” I remember looking around the room, seeing all the shattered bottles and broken glass, and not wanting to move because I didn’t know if it was broken, if the bottle he had inside me was broken. I couldn’t feel anything. I didn’t experience any pain or discomfort. I glanced about and saw so much shattered glass that I wasn’t sure if he’d notice if it was broken or not, and I remember thinking, ‘God please, I hope it’s not broken.’
The actress said in court that she had no idea how the alleged assault concluded.
“I was in the bathroom at the time.” I recall retching and the sound my voice was creating. I recall losing control of my bladder. “I simply remember retching and there was blood on the floor,” Heard recalled.
She went on to say that she doesn’t remember how the night ended, but she did remembers Depp “begging me not to leave… I’m not sure if this happened before or after this. I just have that recollection. I recall taking a lot of sleeping pills –– not a lot, but two of them, which is a lot for me. I don’t recall falling asleep, but I know I did since I awoke the next day.”
Meanwhile, Depp’s attorneys claim that Heard’s testimony had “several fallacies” and that she was acting.
