LAHORE: The chief minister of Punjab Mr. Parvez Elahi held an important meeting in Rawalpindi before his meeting with the PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s announcement about the assembly’s dissolution date.
According to sources, on Friday evening the Chief Minister of Punjab Parvez Elahi went to Rawalpindi where he held a very important & crucial meeting. After holding a meeting in Rawalpindi he returned and immediately consulted with his party leaders on the currently prevailing political situation in the country. The sources further said that Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain was also taken in confidence by the PML-Q leader.
Remember that this kind of development was created just hours before the Pakistan Tehreek Insaaf chairman is set to announce today the date for the Punjab Assembly Dissoultion. To announce the date for the dissolution of the Punjab Assembly, the PTI Chairman held various meetings in this connection with Parvez Elahi and his son Moonis Elahi.
The sources further said that the Chief Minister of Punjab is not in favor of the dissolution of the Punjab Assembly. Parvez Elahi does not want the Punjab Assembly to be dissolved. According to sources, CM Pubjab Parvez Elahi argued that the assemblies should not be dissolved yet, he said that this action would cause serious complications, he advised that this matter should be discussed and revisited latter on.
On the other hand, Chaudhry Shujaat’s son, MNA Salik Hussain also met with PML-N supremo Mr. Nawaz Sharif in London and delivered him his father Chaudhry Shujaat’s message.
The sources further said that the PML-N has expressed its willingness for accepting current CM Parvez Elahi as its chief minister. However, Pakistan Muslim League (N) is still waiting for a solid reply from PML-Q leader Chaudhary Shujaat.
The Intdailynews has received reports from trusted sources which says that the current CM of Pubjab Parvez Elahi strongly opposed dissolving the assembly after conducting his crucial meeting in Rawalpindi. The sources further say that the Punjab CM Parvez Elahi suggested Imran Khan avoid haste in dissolving the assemblies.
