KIVO: On Friday, the Ukrainian authorities periodically worked and restored power, in the country and aided by the reconnection of the country’s four nuclear plants. However, there are reports that still millions of people are in the dark after the most devastating Russian air strikes of the war.
On the other hand, Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelensky advised the Ukrainian citizens to use energy wisely. In a video statement issued by the Ukraine’s president said that “If there is electricity, this doesn’t mean you can turn on several powerful electrical appliances at once,”.
The Ukrainian president further said that there are more than 6 million people still without power in Ukraine, half as many as there were in the immediate aftermath of the Russian assault on Wednesday. Due to the airstrikes of Russian air forces, it damaged a lot of areas in Ukraine, and also leaving millions of people with no light, heat or water, where the temperature also fell below zero degree.
