ISLAMABAD: The federal minister of the Interior Ms. Rana Sanaullah said that the government is expected to call in the Pak army to deal with any unforeseen situation before PTI’s long march, to be started this Friday in Islamabad.
The interior minister Sanullah also said that the federal government will surely call in the armed forces — consisting of the Pakistan Army and Rangers — to fiercely deal with PTI rally participants.
It is to be remembered that a day earlier, the PTI chief Imran khan announced the date for the PTI long march that is to be started on this Friday, of October 2022. On that occasion, the PTI leader Asad Umar also said that the long march participants will enter the federal capital by November 4.
On the other hand, the Supreme Court of Pakistan has clearly rejected the federal government’s request to stop PTI chief Imran khan’s long march on immediate basis. On this occasion, the chief justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial advised the federal government to start talks with the PTI chairman and former PM of Pakistan Imran khan.
