The event at Masjid-e-Nabvi was unfortunate and planned jointly by Imran Khan and Sheikh Rashid, according to Hanif Abbasi.
Hanif Abbasi, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, has made an unusual offer: if someone can deliver former Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid’s wig to him, he will give him Rs50,000.
At a news conference in Rawalpindi, the PMLN leader stated the Masjid-e-Nabvi event was regrettable and organised jointly by former Prime Minister Imran Khan and Sheikh Rashid Ahmad, and that he would never speak to anybody in the mosque. Imran Khan, Sheikh Rashid, and his nephew, he claimed, were all involved in the plot.
Abbasi stated that he would fight Sheikh Rashid in all political venues and that he was ready to battle him anywhere he wanted to run elections with him, claiming that Rashid would suffer popular fury everywhere he went.
Hanif Abbasi said that PTI workers insulted Marriyum Aurangzeb and Shahzain Bugti on the premises of Masjid-e-Nabvi, and he suggested that all perpetrators be arrested after filing FIRs. He stated that it was not the fault of Nawaz Sharif or Shehbaz Sharif, but that the sanctity of Masjid-e-Nabvi had been violated, and that all perpetrators should face commensurate punishment.
