ISLAMABAD: The Human Right Commission of Pakistan, HCP, has said in a statement that it is unacceptable that political tension should reach into such a glaring intolerance and sexism.
The HRCP has taken serious notice of the PTI chariman Imran KHan’s shameful remarks about PML -N Vice President Maryam Nawaz and strongly condemned his statement. The Human Right Commission of Pakistan urged PTI chairman Imran Khan to appolise to all women in Pakistan.
The PTI Chaairman and former PM Imran Khan reffered to the Maryam Nawaz’s Sargodha rally that was arranged a day before, and commented about her in a shamfull manner. He commented about Maryam Nawaz that “I heard she spoke with such jazba and junoon about me that I feel like asking her to be careful lest her husband gets upset”.
After his statement, a larg number of people on social media strongly condemned his remarks about Maryam Nawaz. Among other peoples, journalists, women’s rights activits and other political persons from other political parties and including PDM-PPP strongly condemned the use of such a bazari language agaist a women politician.
The HRCP strongly taken notic of former PM Imran Khan remarks about Maryam Nawaz and issue a statement in which the commission said “It is simply unacceptable that the political narrative should crumble into such glaring intolerance and sexism.”
The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan also said in their statement that former PM should appology not just to Ms Sharif but also to all women.
