ISLAMABAD: Today on Friday, as a result of suicide attacks in Federal Captial’s I-10 area at least one cop was martyred. In addition, four other policemen and two civilians were also injured. This was told by the D I G Operations Sohail Zafar Chattha told the media.
While talking to the media persons at the blast site, the DIG Sohail Zafar also said that members of Eagle Squad tried to stop a suspicious car for checking but the suicide attacker detonated himself on that occasion.
After the suicide bomb blast, the law enforcement agency cordoned of the concerned area and started searching for the culprit.
The police cop who was martyred as a result of the suicide attack was identified as Head Constable Adeel Hussain.
