RAWALPINDI: Today in a news conference the DG ISI Lt Gen Nadeem Anjum directly jibe the PTI chief Imran Khan, and criticized him for calling him as traitor.
In a news conference, on Thursday the DG ISI fiercely criticized the PTI chairman and said that it is not possible that the former PM Imran Khan meet with army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa at night and then call him a “traitor in the next day”.
The DG ISI further said that “if the commander-in-chief, according to Imran Khan, is a traitor then why did you meet him in hiding? DG ISI Nadeem Anjum further said that meeting with COAS is your right however it is impossible that you meet at night and then call him a traitor in the day”.
The DG ISI Nadeem Anjum in the same news conference further said that due to the neutral policy and not interfering in politics the PTI chairman Imran khan called the Pak Army “neutral and an animal” this was all due to that Pak Army had strongly committed treason by strictly refusing to be part of an “illegal” decision.
During the news conference the DG ISI clarified that the refusal to do the “illegal jobs” was not the decision of a single person or army chief but of the entire institution.
Lt Gen Nadeem Anjum further said that since March the Pakistan military has been under a lot of pressure but they decided to limit themselves to its constitutional role.
