KARACHI: Afghanistan’s famous leg spinner, Rashid Khan recently arrived in Pakistan on late Tuesday. He will participate in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) eight edition from Lahore Qalandar team.
According to some sources, Rashid Khan leg spinner arrived in Pakistan via Dubai late Monday night. On the other hand, on the official Twitter account of Lahore Qalandar, welcomed him and saying “Khush Amdeed”.
Lahore Qalandars, on its official Twitter handle, welcomed Afghanistan’s cricketer saying “Khush Amdeed”.
Sam Billings, who belongs to England cricket team was playing for Lahore Qalandar as a replacement for Afghan leg spinner Rashid Khan after he was defending the previous champions Qalandars roped him in for the PSL 2023 in an online Replacement Draft.
On social media network, Twitter, he posted that I am delighted to join the Qalandars Family and saying: “So happy to join the Lahore Qalandars family! Can’t wait to play in Pakistan for the first time.”
Afghan leg spinner Rashid Khan would be participating in the face-off between Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators which would be played in Karachi today.
Earlier the sources said that the Afghan leg-spinner Rashid Khan was unable to ensure his participation due to the responsibilities at home.
