LAHORE: Tehreek Insaaf Chairman Imran Khan once again blamed former chief of army staff General (retired) Qamar Javed Bajwa had “struck” a deal with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.
Imran Khan made this allegation in a conversation with a team of journalists on Saturday. PTI chairman continuely blaming the former army chief Qamar Javed Bajwa for his government’s ouster.
Imran Khan has recently admitted that granting extension to Gen (retd) Bajwa was a one of my big “mistake”, furthermore he had also accused the former army chief Bajwa of “betraying” him.
Yesterday, with a team of journalists, he also told that I am not in contact with the establishment “for now”. In the same meeting with journalists, he also told that PTI Nastional Assembly members would appear before the Speaker of National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf in order to confirm their resignations on Monday (December 26).
On the other hand, the government has ruled out several times about holding early elections for several reasons like Flood, and also said that they might take place in October 2023.
