ISLAMABAD: On Wednesday, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah stated that if the government allows me to arrest Imran khan then I will keep the PTI Chairman Imran Khan in Balochistan’s Machh Jail.
Sanaullah stated: “I would keep him in Mirchi Ward of Machh Jail as politicians have previously resided in Machh Jail” in an interview for the Geo News show “Capital Talk.”
The interior minister further disclosed that Akhtar Mengal, the leader of the BNP, had pledged that if Khan were to be captured, he would be held at Machh Jail.
Sanauallah pledged that he would not “spare” Khan if he came into contact with him.
The interior minister bemoaned not apprehending Khan on May 25, when occurrences occurred during Khan’s initial extended march into Islamabad, which was abruptly stopped as a result of violent skirmishes between citizens and police officials.
He stated, “I want a case should have been filed instead of constituting a subcommittee,” and said that if the cabinet had listened to him, the PTI leader would have been taken into custody.
He asserted that rangers, the Islamabad Police, and the FC will arrest Khan in response to Khan’s allegation that the Islamabad Police will join his march once they get to the federal capital.
