ANKARA: The Turkish defence minister Hulusi Akar said on Saturday that the Turkish govt is now busy in talks with the Russian government to use the airspace situated above northern Syria during potential cross-border operation against the Syrian Kurdish YPG militia. It is to be remembered that the Turkish government has recently carried out many incursions into Syria northern region against the YPG. The Turkish government has stepped up preparations last month after a very deadly bomb blast, which caused several casualties in Istanbul it blamed on Kurdish militants.
However, on the other hand the militan group of Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) and the U.S.-allied Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), have strongly denied any kind of involvement in the same bombing of the busy pedestrian avenue.
