ISTAMBOLE: The devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria killed more than 4300 peoples and thousand of peoples are wounded, sources confirmed.
While on the other hand that Syrian and Turkish disaster response departments reported that more than 5,600 building have been collapsed in several cities, consisting of multi-stories apartments filled with sleeping residents when the earthquake of 7.8-magnitude hit them.
In Kahramanmaras city which is situated in the southeastern part of Turkey, the eyewitnesses struggled to comprehend the scale of the disaster. In Turkey one of the news reporter named Melisa Salman and age 23 years, said that “We thought it was the apocalypse,”. She further expressed her views and said “That was the first time we have ever experienced anything like that.”
On the one side that Turkey’s relief agency AFAD said on Tuesday that there were now 2,921 deaths confirmed in that country alone, which resulted that confirmed death numbers reached to 4, 365.
While on the other hand the World Health Organization (WHO) fears that the total death may rise inexorably and estimating up to 20,000 may have died.
Turkey’s and Syrian Earthquake on Social Media
On social media like Twitter and Facebook and most giant video site like YouTube shows that peoples are running away from the building populated areas to open places to save themselves.

Another Twitter user name Hiba karm also expressed her views about the current heartbreaking earthquake which resulted in damaging the dam in Syria. She said that “The Midanki Lake dam in Afrin, northern Syria, has cracked. If the international community does not intervene and send committees for the dam, there may be a tragedy greater than an earthquake.”
