LAHORE: The popular Youtuber anchorperson Imran Riaz has been arrested from Lahore airport by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) over his controversial statements, sources told to private media channel in Pakistan.
One of the FIA officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, confirmed that the Pakistani Youtuber anchorperson was arrested from Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport just before he was leaving for the United Arab Emirates.
According to sources the Youtuber Imran Riaz will be presented in court today.
It is to be noted that the famous Pakistan Youtuber, who run their private social media channel on YouTube, was arrested on the same day PTI ally Sheikh Rashid Ahmed was nabbed by the Islamabad Police.
The PTI leader Asad Umar was reacting to the arrests of Youtuber Imran Riaz, claimed that terrorists are roaming free in Pakistan but on the other hand Sheikh Rashid of Awami Muslim league and Youtuber Imran Riaz are behind the bars.
